Info

We want to keep our players healthy and injury-free, so we dedicate our time in making sure our players do the right stretches and exercises pre and post practices and games. It’s our duty to teach our players all these necessary exercises to save them from suffering setbacks. Also, in light of the recent pandemic we are requiring each player to bring their own soccer ball to practice and games to ensure a thorough sanitizing has taken place. Club Fees don’t include required soccer ball, stretch bands, foam roller, and uniform kit. Please initial your players' items with permanent marker. Each player is required to have the following at every practice and game day.

  • Proper size soccer ball

  • Foam roller

  • Small and big bands for injury prevention exercises

After the club issues spot selections for the 2022/2023 Season, a non-refundable commitment fee will be due within 48 hours of notice.

Uniform Policy: Uniform kits will include performance practice tees and a custom home and away jersey for use of the 2022/2023 season. Ordering instructions will be sent after tryouts. Extra gear and fanwear will be available for purchase on the store page.

U9-U10

This is a very critical stage in player development. Players have to be exposed to all the basics and fundamentals of soccer, including the specific physical strength and conditioning aspects of the sport. Focus is on developing the players’ technical skills involving the breakdown of movement in soccer and focusing on muscle memory. This creates a solid foundation for players to move forward in the game. Players are introduced to tactical awareness through the guidance of our professional coaching staff ensuring good positional sense on the field. Alpha provides a positive, empowering environment that encourages player personal growth which in turn spills over into the community. We will have community days where our players will be able to go serve in the community so they can understand that soccer extends beyond the field and can make a difference.

U11-U12

Player development at this age is very important because it is a balance of the fundamental skills that are instilled for early players but also adding advancement to all aspects of the game. As players continue to evolve in their skill level, our coaches build upon the muscle memory that our players already have and target specific development per player. We focus on the hold up of good technique in game play combined with the tactical awareness of using their skills for a more competitive game environment. Our coaching staff knows the benefits of learning different positions to build a well-rounded player. Collectively this approach allows players to see more advanced team play. Along with skill development players are taught specified strength exercises to help in the development of different muscle groups. This encourages physicality on the ball and athleticism. U13-U16

Our focus at this age is combining all aspects of the game to build a well-rounded player. With emphasis on field awareness, player expression is encouraged physically, technically, and tactically. Coaches are able to build upon the skills of their players and pull apart the game to see team movement while battling positionally. Coaches encourage players to learn different positions highlighting the advantage this brings for player marketability. Along with skill development players are taught specified strength exercises to help in the development of different muscle groups. Our program for this age group will run year-round to give us an opportunity to keep track of our players’ development. Players should not have to choose between club or school. During the school season coaches will adjust sessions to provide necessary supplemental support including, injury prevention, light training or technical work to prevent mental and physical burn out. Our club will support the opportunity for players in the college recruiting process. We are focused on the growth of character in our players so they can be role models that bring positive change in our community. We will have community days where our players will have an opportunity to go serve in the community so that there is an understanding that soccer is bigger than just playing it on the field, but rather a platform used to change the lives of others.
